About Us

In 1960 Mr. Emilio Augelli estabilished the firm "EMILIO AUGELLI MARMI". 

Created for the quarrying of stone produced in the marble basin of APRICENA - POGGIO IMPERIALE, specifically in the variety of "Fiorito, Biancone, Bronzetto, Serpeggiante". During the 70es the business expanded to the European markets until it became one of its leaders, in technology as well as production.  

During the 80'es, the brothers Leonardo e Michele Augelli joined the firm. With them production was modified to include import of marble and granite from all over the world. Over 200 varieties of marble, granite and travertine have been added and offered to the public. 

In 1993 a warehouse was opened in Santarcangelo di Romagna, in the heart of Emilia Romagna. This subsidiary boasts an area of 2.500 square meters of warehouse and provides over 40.000 square meters of marble and granite slabs ready to be delivered. 

In 1998 a new subsidiary and warehouse was built and opened in Avenza Carrara. This warehouse is now used as an opening to world-wide export as well as logistics centre for stone procurement, because Carrara is Italian main marble center.

In 2009 a new warehouse was started in Sammichele di Bari. This subsidiary with an opened and a covered area of 4.500 square meters provides over 70.000 square meters of stone, marble, granite, onyx, travertine and composite slabs. This warehouse let have a direct contact with strengthened customers and other potential in the south of the Italy.
